Denver Broncos Release Shiloh Keo from Suspended List
With Shiloh Keo expected to return from his suspension by the NFL on Monday, the Broncos decided to release him before the suspension ended.
Broncos defensive back Shiloh Keo managed to find himself on the roster when a tweet to Wade Phillips earned his chance to play in the Mile High City.
Now, Keo is going to be looking for a job elsewhere once his two game suspension is over.
The Denver Broncos have decided to release suspended safety Shiloh Keo from the team on Saturday, one day before the Broncos are set to take on the Indianapolis Colts.

The first thing that popped up in my head when I saw the news was that the Broncos must really like what they have in Justin Simmons and Will Parks to release a veteran like Keo.

Shiloh Keo was a late season addition to the Denver Broncos last season. His biggest plays with the team was an interception in the regular season finale against the San Diego Chargers that helped set up the win and the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC.
His other play was his onside recovery against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game that sent the team to Super Bowl 50.
Shiloh Keo is eligible to start practicing again on Monday. I would believe that he could find a job with a team that is looking for secondary help.
Hey, the Indianapolis Colts may not be such a bad idea with the injuries they have at that position.
There is also the possibility of him returning to the Denver Broncos. Having a veteran presence along with Darian Stewart and T.J. Ward to help Simmons and Parks along would not be a bad idea.
My thought process with the release is that with him eligible to return to the team on Monday that the Broncos would have to waive/release a player on the roster. Perhaps there was not a player that should be released. That or the Broncos were happy with the team that they have.
This will be an interesting development. Shiloh Keo is a pretty decent option at the secondary position. Wishing him all of the best.
