Dan Quinn doesn't sound too concerned about Vic Beasley's torn labrum
While Atlanta Falcons first-round draft pick Vic Beasley has apparently been dealing with a torn labrum in his shoulder all season long, head coach Dan Quinn doesn't seem the slightest bit concerned. Heck, if he's played this many games with it, why would he be concerned about it at this point?
"He did have an injury to his shoulder way back in OTAs," Quinn said. "He's not missed any time during training camp. He's not missed any time during the season. He missed a practice earlier this season because of a foot. But he's been not limited in any way with the shoulder. He's actually done a great job."
"He's doing great with it," Quinn said. "There's no setbacks, nothing to limit. And he's actually done a great job with the injury all year."
Beasley hasn't been able to live up to his lofty preseason goal of double-digit sacks, but he has 22 combined tackles, three sacks, three passes defensed, one interception and a forced fumble. At the very least, Beasley looks like he has a bright future in Atlanta, and will be a player to watch over the final two games of the season.
