Daily Dawg Tags: Browns need to pay Terrelle Pryor

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

Spanning the virtual globe to bring you the latest news about the Cleveland Browns and the NFL – these are your Daily Dawg Tags for Tuesday, Oct. 18.

In case you missed it while watching the Cleveland Indians yesterday, the Cleveland Browns announced that Cody Kessler will be the starting quarterback this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This means he will once again be paired with his star receiver, Terrelle Pryor. Pryor is currently on a one-year deal with the Browns, but his value is rising exponentially after every game. This makes it important for the Browns to offer him an extension soon, or risk him hitting the market at the end of the season and potentially losing him to another team.

The season is only six weeks old, but Pryor has proven he is a dominant NFL receiver, and the Browns would be foolish to let him leave.

This is not news to the front office, so hopefully an extension is worked out soon. In the meantime, let’s take a look at the news surrounding the Browns and the rest of the NFL in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
