Colts hurting at corner heading into Week 2

Published Sep. 18, 2015 12:38 a.m. ET

Three Indianapolis Colts cornerbacks missed the team's practice Thursday in advance of the Monday night game against the New York Jets.

Starting corner Greg Toler, who missed Week 1 after injuring his neck in the team's Aug. 22 preseason game against the Chicago Bears, was joined on the sidelines Thursday by Darius Butler and D'Joun Smith.

Butler, who started in place of Toler in Week 1, missed practice due to a hip injury suffered in the loss to the Buffalo Bills.  According to the Indianapolis Star, Butler was injured in the first quarter, but was able to finish the game.

Smith sat out as well with a knee injury and is considered day to day.
