Colts fire offensive line coach Hal Hunter
The Indianapolis Colts continued to overhaul head coach Chuck Pagano's coaching staff with the firing of offensive line coach Hal Hunter on Thursday.
The decision not to retain Hunter for the 2016 was part of a series of moves the Colts announced, including the hiring of former New York Giants assistant Jim Herrmann as linebackers coach and the addition former Miami Dolphins assistant Darren Krein as the team's strength and conditioning coach.
Hunter spent the one season as the Colts' offensive line coach as two years as the assistant line coach. Fellow offensive line coach Joe Gilbert remains on Pagano's staff.
The Colts gave up 37 sacks in 2015, with the team struggling to protect quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Matt Hasselbeck for much of the season.
