College Football Week 5: 5 Games NFL Fans Should Watch
College Football enters Week 5 and here are five games NFL fans should watch.
If you are itching to watch some football, but can’t wait until Sunday for Week 4 of the NFL, I’ve got you covered. The college football season is in full swing and there are some ridiculously good matchups in Week 5 of the college ranks.
Also, if you’re like me, it is hard to go a day on the weekend without watching football. College football is awesome, mainly because I love scouting college players to see whether I think they will be successful in the NFL. Along with scouting players, I also just love football—and there is nothing like the fraternity that is college football.
People support their alma maters, they support their favorite teams, and no matter what; the passion is crazy. The atmosphere is honestly impossible to explain. But if you have been lucky enough to experience it, you know what I mean.
Heading into Week 5 of the college football season, there are a couple of solid games that you should watch. Sadly, the No. 7 Stanford vs. No. 10 Washington would be a game to watch, but they went to battle on Friday night. Outside of that awesome game, here are five games NFL fans should watch on Saturday.

No. 14 Miami at Georgia Tech
Some of you may read this and think that this game isn’t worth watching, but let me explain myself before you skip ahead.
For starters, Miami is just an awesome team to watch play on Saturdays. They have a great fanbase and they always seem to excite. More importantly, their quarterback could be the next big name to go in the first round of the NFL Draft. Brad Kaaya is looked at by some as the top quarterback in the 2017 NFL Draft. Though, when I broke down one of his games, I came way unimpressed with his ability.

Luckily for Kaaya, he has a chance to prove me and any other doubters wrong this season. So far through 2016, Kaaya has 694 yards passing and seven touchdowns. He has thrown three interceptions in three games, but his team is still 3-0. Kaaya has completed 65.8 percent of his passes while averaging 9.13 yards per attempt. He will be looking to not only show he can play at the next level, but he can get his team to 4-0 against a sneaky team in Georgia Tech.
This Georgia Tech team comes into the game after a loss to Clemson last week. Before the loss, they were 3-0, so they aren’t a slouch by any standard. They have a unique offense that can take advantage of any defense. They pound the rock and if Miami falls behind, sometimes it is hard to get back against them. For perspective, they have only thrown the ball 56 times, but have ran 180 times.
Miami needs to make sure this isn’t a trap game for them and that their quarterback Kaaya is on his game.

No. 23 Florida vs. Vanderbilt
The University of Florida was looking like they were one of the best teams in the country. Through three weeks, their defense only gave up 14 points and one of the games was a shutout. They have always been known for their stout defense and 2016 is no different. Usually it is their defense that carries them through the season, but 2016 has been a little different in that aspect. Their starting quarterback, Luke Del Rio, son of Oakland Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio, was playing awesome football.
Thought three games, Del Rio threw for 762 yards and three touchdowns. It was a pleasant surprise to see good quarterback play for Florida, since they haven’t had it lately. After starting 3-0, Florida faced a huge roadblock: Del Rio got injured in their Week 3 game. They had to take on No. 14 Tennessee in Week 4, without their starter. That game was ugly for the Gators. Their backup quarterback did not do bad, but he struggled in the second half. His second half struggles led to their first loss of the season.
Thankfully for Florida, they still have a chance to make a run to a title. They have a big game against Vanderbilt that they’ll once again play without Del Rio. If they can sneak by Vanderbilt and get Del Rio back, they have a chance to make a run. If they win out, and Tennessee losses two games, Florida will play of the SEC title.
Do not rule out the Gators and make sure you watch them on Saturday.

No. 11 Tennessee at No. 25 Georgia
The team that defeated Florida was the Tennessee Volunteers. The huge victory bumped them from No. 14 in the rankings to No. 11. After a big overtime scare against Appalachian State in Week 1, they have looked the part of title contender. One big reason for their success, their quarterback Joshua Dobbs.
Hobbs has played great in 2016, throwing for 805 yards and 10 touchdowns while adding 241 yards rushing and four touchdowns. In the Florida game, Tennessee was trailing at halftime, but Dobbs took over in the second half. He scored five second half touchdowns, leading his team to their first victory in the last 12 meetings between their respective teams. He is a big play waiting to happen and the Georgia defense will need to do their best to contain him.
The worst part for Georgia, their biggest worry isn’t even Dobbs, it is the health of their own player, running back Nick Chubb. Chubb was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain and the big question was whether he would play or not, but according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (via ESPN), Chubb will not play on Saturday.
That means the entire Georgia offense will need to step it up if they want to walk away victorious. Regardless of who is playing, both teams are ranked and SEC football is always the best to watch. Make sure you tune-in.

No. 8 Wisconsin at No. 4 Michigan
If you love Big Ten football then this game is right up your alley. The top team in the Big Ten West takes on the top team in the Big Ten East. That would be the No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers heading into “The Big House” to take on the No. 4 Michigan. This game has potential to be one of the all-time greats.
Wisconsin is the real deal. They opened up against No. 5 LSU, winning that game 16-14. Then after two tune-up games to get to 3-0, they took on No. 8 Michigan State. It was a huge game, obviously, but MSU quickly found out they were playing one of the best teams in the country. Wisconsin dominated the game, winning 30-6 and putting the entire NCAA on notice. They are one of the hottest teams in the country and they have no time to cool-off as they follow up their MSU win with Michigan.
Michigan, just like Wisconsin, is a legitimate title contender. However, unlike Wisconsin, Michigan has yet to play a ranked team. This will be their biggest test of the season, but led by their head coach Jim Harbaugh, they always have a chance. Harbaugh is famously known for his khaki pants, but more importantly, his amazing ability to lead and coach.
Both of these teams could play in the National Championship, so this is definitely a game you want to watch on Saturday.

No. 3 Louisville at No. 5 Clemson
Last but not least, the biggest game of Week 5: No. 3 Louisville at No. 5 Clemson.
For starters, Louisville’s quarterback Lamar Jackson is the early Heisman favorite. I do not know if his game will translate to the NFL, that will have to come with a film study after the year, but what I do know is the kid can ball!
Through four games, Jackson has 25 touchdowns. To put his ridiculous numbers into perspective, Clemson has 15 touchdowns as an offense this season. He has 10 more touchdowns than the No. 5 team in the country, which he takes on this Saturday.
Clemson is the real deal. They played in the national championship last season, ultimately losing to Alabama. However, they are back in 2016 and looking to be the team on top. They are led by their Heisman Trophy candidate and NFL hopeful quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Watson is regarded by some as the top quarterback in college football, but he will need to be just that to take down the red hot Louisville Cardinals. Both teams come into the game 4-0 and if you are going to watch just one college football game on Saturday, make sure it is Louisville at Clemson.
This game will not disappoint, I promise you that!
