Chiefs' Nunez-Roches was at his best against the best in college

At first glance, the Alabama Crimson Tide destroyed Southern Miss by 40 points last fall.

But Chiefs scouts are paid to take second, third, and fourth glances at college games -- and that's whereĀ sixth-round pick DT Rakeem Nunez-Roches stood out.

The former Golden Eagle played his best against Nick Saban's squad. Judging by the highlights below, Nunez-RochesĀ was able to plug up running lanes and get a little pressure on Tide QB Blake Sims.

Drafting a player outside the Power Five conferences always carries some level of inherent risk. It's encouraging to seeĀ Nunez-Roches play well against four-and-five star recruits at the highest level. We'll see if he's able to up his game again for the Chiefs.
