Chiefs Justin Houston admits he was just a tad bit rusty
Justin Houston ended his five-week injury hiatus just in time to play in the Chiefs' first playoff win in 22 years.
But the star outside linebacker needed some time to adjust -- and admitted he wasn't playing up to standards vs. the Houston Texans on Saturday.
Houston, via Chiefs.com: "I had to knock some rust off. I didn't do as well as I wanted to do out there."
Kansas City could afford to take it slow with their sackmaster. He'll get further acclimated to a bulky knee brace and, perhaps, receive further treatment after banging on it on Saturday.
The team will need a rust-free Houston to pressure Tom Brady next weekend in Foxboro, though.
