Chicago Bears WR Kevin White rated a top-10 rookie in Madden NFL 16
To tease the release of Madden NFL 16, the video game's creators at EA Sports has released the ratings for the top 10 rookies. Chicago Bears wide receiver Kevin White, the seventh-overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, was among them.
White, a 23-year-old West Virginia product, earned an overall rating of 78. Only seven rookies earned a higher rating. Oakland's Amari Cooper, the top-rated rookie at 82 overall, was the only receiver with a higher rating than White.
"White has big shoes to fill following the departure of Brandon Marshall, but he’s a deep threat with 94 Speed, 92 Acceleration, 88 Agility, and rookie-best 88 Catching," EA Sports wrote about White.
EA Sports made a video in which they revealed the rankings to a group of rookies, and White was one of the players featured in the video. Even though his actual rating fell seven points shy of his 85 overall prediction, White was one of few who appeared pleased by the results.
