Carroll: Seahawks' Wagner looming as game-time decision
Seattle Seahawks middle linebacker Bobby Wagner is looming as a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup against the undefeated Carolina Panthers.
Wagner suffered an injury to his pectoral muscle in the fourth quarter of last weekend's overtime loss at Cincinnati. He sat out two plays before returning to finish out the game.

"We’ll just see how it goes. It will go all the way to the game, for sure,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told reporters Wednesday. "He’s determined to play. He wants to play and thinks he can but we won’t know until he gets to it.”
If Wagner is unable to play, Carroll will shift K.J. Wright to middle linebacker. Wright filled in at the position last season when Wagner was sidelined for five games, but he's expecting his teammate to play.
“I think he’s actually going to be able to go. I think everything’s going to work out,” Wright said of Wagner. “I talked to him and he said he’s going to be fine.”
