Buffalo Bills Pounce On Bad Snap, Turn It Into Six (Video)
The Buffalo Bills are on a quest to upset the Arizona Cardinals, and they’ve made it a 30-13 ballgame by taking full advantage of an errant snap.
Down 23-7, the Arizona Cardinals lined up for a 31-yard field goal attempt. It looked like they were starting to mount something of a comeback late in the third quarter. Getting stopped for three instead of six is rarely a good thing for the Cards. But with just one touchdown on the board against the Buffalo Bills, they were willing to take what they could get.
The Bills special teams unit had other ideas.

Arizona’s long snapper sent an awful snap that the holder had absolutely no chance at handling. From then on, the Bills made the Cardinals kicker and holder look like fools, sending Chandler Cantazaro (the Cards kicker) to the turf. Then, Bills safety Aaron Williams scooped the ball up, and he returned it 53 yards for the touchdown.
How embarrassing.
The Cardinals cut the lead to 30-13 via a 22-yard touchdown run from David Johnson. But Carson Palmer and the Arizona offense were unable to get the two-point conversion pass completed.
Buffalo had been in control almost from kickoff, despite the fact that Tyrod Taylor had no touchdown passes and less than four yards per pass attempt. It was the LeSean McCoy show in Buffalo, though Taylor has been just as impressive on the ground with 82 yards and an untouched score on just six rushing attempts.
As for the Cardinals, it has been a day for the offense to forget, because only Johnson’s two rushing touchdowns have been worth writing home about.
