Does everyone remember those sick red uniforms the Buffalo Bills wore last season when we played the Jets in Week 10? I hope so because those uniforms are being welcomed back this week when the Bills host the New York Jets.
That Week 10 matchup last season also fell on a Thursday night, which saw the Buffalo Bills beat out the Jets 22-17. It was Rex Ryan’s first time back in New York since the Jets fired him and the end result was exactly what everyone was hoping for.
Tyrod Taylor finished that game with just 158 yards passing, but completed 17 of his 27 attempts and threw a 26-yard touchdown to Karlos Williams — who is no longer with the team. LeSean McCoy carried the ball 19 times in the win, totaling 112 yards.
The Bills’ defense gave New York a very tough time offensively in that game, as well. The first touchdown of the game came off a 19-yard fumble return by S Duke Williams and they didn’t stop their with the turnovers. In the end, Fitzpatrick had thrown two interceptions — Corey Graham and Bacarri Rambo — and also forced two fumbles — recovered by Duke Williams and Bacarri Rambo.

If the Bills want a shot in this week’s matchup, they will need to perform much better on offense than they did in their regular season opener vs. the Ravens. We’ve already seen that the defense can hold off the opposing offense, but the Bills still failed to outscore Baltimore. With both teams at 0-1, this game will be very important to the AFC East standings.
Last night, me and my co-editor Dennis Moody made some predictions for the game. Here’s the excerpt from that piece:
“First, let’s get to Dennis Moody’s predictions on this game:Buffalo Bills win 17-14
Bills’ defense scores first TD of the season.
Tough day for Taylor, but he helps lead the Bills’ on their final drive to score for the win.
Next, let’s get to my predictions on the game:
Buffalo Bills win 24-10
Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby each get an interception.
LeSean McCoy gets 100 yards rushing and Tyrod Taylor adds 40 yards rushing.”
