Buffalo Bills cut Jeff Tuel, claim Matt Simms

Published May. 31, 2015 8:45 p.m. ET

The Buffalo Bills continue to tinker with their roster, specifically at the quarterback position this offseason. As the team searches for a starting quarterback, the Bills claimed Matt Simms off waivers after he was cut by the New York Jets. To make room on the roster for Simms, the Bills parted ways with Jeff Tuel.

Simms marks the third quarterback to come in this offseason from another team after the Bills traded for Matt Cassel earlier in the offseason and Tyrod Taylor joined the Bills as a free agent.
