OK Buccaneers‘ faithful, I know that these reports have been difficult to look at as of late. It’s understandable. The Bucs have looked more like a M*A*S*H unit than a football team. It has been to their credit that they have returned to .500 while missing some key components.

Give Dirk and the coaching staff credit for getting the team together and playing well. Give credit to the guys for coming through when they needed to step up.

Now, things might be changing in Tampa as they get ready for a three-game homestand. Those changes are for the better.

Let’s take a look at the injury report:

    Player No. Pos. Injury Wednesday
Robert Ayers 91 DE Ankle Limited Participation
Joe Hawley 68 C Ankle Limited Participation
Doug Martin 22 RB Hamstring Did Not Participate
Clinton McDonald 98 DT Hamstring Limited Participation

Is that Robert Ayers back on the list, practicing? I do believe that it is. That’s right gang, Ayers was back at practice today for the first time since his injury, albeit on a limited basis.

In fact, everyone except for Doug Martin practiced today, making this the healthiest the Bucs have been in weeks. That is a great and happy sign for us all.

Now here are the injuries for the visiting Raiders:

    Player No. Pos. Injury Wednesday
Vadal Alexander 74 G/T Ankle Limited Participation
Andre Holmes 18 WR Hip Limited Participation
Taiwan Jones 22 RB Knee Did Not Participate
Stacy McGee 92 DT Ankle Did Not Participate
Brynden Trawick 41 S Shoulder Limited Participation
Menelik Watson 71 T Calf Limited Participation

It’s a good thing that our guys are getting back to health, because it seems that the Raiders’ important parts all are healthy and ready to go.

We will be locked in all week to the injuries, as always. Stay tuned.
