The weather always plays a role in a football game. Precipitation or not, all aspects of the weather can make a difference. Well the Buccaneers take on the Broncos at Raymond James stadium on Sunday.
The Bucs are looking to rebound from last week’s tough loss at the hands of the Rams. It’s Florida, we know there is a wide range of potential forecasts, as the weather can change on a time.
So what’s the weather report? We have it for you, courtesy of AccuWeather:
Sunday’s forecast calls partly cloudy skies, a thunderstorm around in the afternoon, and a high temperature of 90. At game time the temperature will be 87, with north winds at six miles per hour. It will feel like, thanks to the humidity, 96. The temperature will drop during the game, but only slightly, to 84, but it will feel like 92.
So what does it mean for the game? They say that warm and humid works well for the passing game. The quarterbacks like the feel of the ball in their hand in this type of weather, and the balls come out strong. On part of the team that has not been hit with the injury bug to this point is the passing. Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson, and Adam Humphries are healthy and ready to keep the offense moving. Siemian and company should be able to get the ball down the field with ease as well, between the weather and the way the Bucs’ cornerbacks are playing.
There could be a lot of points scored in this one.
