Jordan Poyer and the Cleveland Browns bit their tongues after a nasty block put the starting safety in the hospital and on injured reserve with a lacerated kidney.
But when Tennessee's Antonio Andrews bragged about the illegal blindside hit by sharing a video of it, he crossed the line, and the Browns let him know.
Terrelle Pryor took exception to Andrews posting the video on Instagram with the caption "Relentless...", saying the special teams player must think he's "some type of superhero or something just because you're hitting a guy blindsided and you think that's cool."
"The only thing I didn't like was when the guy posted it, bragging," Pryor told reporters Wednesday. "Relentless. What is relentless about that? Hitting the guy, another man, when he's not looking? I don't want to get into it because right now it's about Cincinnati and that. But I love Poyer like a brother, and that really angered me. We can go to the next question, but that was bullcrap.”
Poyer was hospitalized after the hit in Sunday's game, and while he didn't complain about it at the time, he didn't appreciate Andrews making a highlight-reel play of it.
?? yea and you commented on it along with others. Ha this contact sport get well soon tho kid. ??? https://t.co/X9wjUPPeNT

Even Browns coach Hue Jackson said it was "disappointing", and Titans coach Mike Mularkey said he talked to Andrews about it.
However, Andrews insisted he did nothing wrong on the field or off.
"Everybody else made it into something more than what it was," he told reporters Wednesday following practice. "It was just a good hit, (the video) showed that it wasn't a blindside, shoulder to chest. Sorry about what happened to him, to his kidney and everything, but good hit, good play."
