Broncos vs. Raiders: Week 9 Thursday Injury Report

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders are set to face off on Sunday Night. Let us take a look at how the team look in Thursday’s injury report.

There is no doubt that this game is going to be one of the biggest ones so far for the Denver Broncos as they begin the second half of the 2016 season.

This time around, the Oakland Raiders are not going to be a pushover like they have been in the past. Yes, the Broncos have won countless games against them as of recently.

This team has an offense that can do some damage. The biggest question is how will they fair against some top-tier competition?

As for the Denver Broncos, they have won six of their first eight games to open up the Super Bowl defense season. But the key is to keep winning games like the division games. They are in a tie with the Raiders (who own the tiebreaker going into this game) and just half a game ahead of the Chiefs.

Sunday Night will be a fun night. Let us take a look at the Denver Broncos injury report on their second day of practice.

The biggest news was Aqib Talib. He missed practice to go to California to get a second option on his lower back injury that has kept him sidelined since after the Houston Texans game.

Another member of the Broncos secondary, Kayvon Webster, also missed practice with a hamstring injury. Matt Paradis (hip) and Russell Okung (NIR) also joined them in the DNP list of the injury report.

Brandon Marshall (hamstring) and Devontae Booker (shoulder) both practiced today. Marshall missed Sunday’s game against San Diego and Booker was injured in that same game.

Chris Harris Jr., T.J. Ward, and Darian Stewart all returned to practice on Thursday after having their rest day on Wednesday.
