Bridgewater-Diggs connection won't go to sleep over offseason
A promising connection between Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and wide receiver Stefon Diggs emerged in 2015. In order to deliver on that promise, they need to reach a new level of productivity next season.
Bridgewater and Diggs are taking the next step toward making that happen by planning offseason workouts together in Florida.

Diggs, a fifth-round draft pick out of Maryland, emerged as Bridgewater's top target in Week 4. He led the team with 52 receptions for 720 yards and four touchdowns. Those aren't astounding numbers at first glance, but they're pretty good for a rookie playing in the NFL's 31st-ranked passing offense (183 yards per game).
Bridgewater, 23, and Diggs, 22, are a couple young playmakers dripping with potential. As long as they work hard and continue to grow in Minnesota's offense, there's nothing stopping them from becoming one of the NFL's best QB-WR combinations for years to come.
