Bills giving all their quarterbacks equal reps in OTAs
The Buffalo Bills began OTAs this week and thus unofficially starting the process of finding their starting quarterback for the 2015 season. The Bills come into camp with former first round pick EJ Manuel looking to rebound from a sophomore season that saw him benched in favor of veteran Kyle Orton during the season.
After Orton retired, the Bills were left with Manuel and backup Jeff Tuel. This prompted the Bills to trade for Matt Cassel and sign Tyrod Taylor in the offseason.
After Wednesday's OTA session, Rex Ryan spoke to the media and gave a brief update on how the quarterback repetitions were being split between the four quarterbacks.
As of Wednesday, all four quarterbacks were getting the same amount of reps during practice. However, Manuel and Cassel worked with the first team while Tuel and Taylor worked with the backups.
