Bills add RB Gillislee to active roster

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) The Buffalo Bills added running back Mike Gillislee to the active roster Saturday.

The Bills (5-6) will be without rookie running back Karlos Williams (shoulder) when they host the Houston Texans (6-5) on Sunday. That left the team with just two healthy running backs - starter LeSean McCoy and Boobie Dixon - before Gillislee was promoted from the practice squad.

Gillislee was drafted out of Florida by the Miami Dolphins in 2013. He has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals.

To make room for Gillislee, the Bills released center Gabe Ikard.
