Bengals WR Shipley out with concussion

Published Oct. 10, 2010 1:03 p.m. ET

Bengals receiver Jordan Shipley was inactive Sunday against Tampa Bay because of a concussion sustained on a controversial hit.

The rookie receiver was hit in the head by Browns safety T.J. Ward a week earlier. The hit drew a penalty and a $15,000 fine from the NFL. Shipley will have two more weeks to get ready for the next game - Cincinnati has its bye next weekend.

Safety Roy Williams also was out with a knee injury. Chinedum Ndukwe started in his place.

The Buccaneers were healthy coming out of their bye week. Defensive end Kyle Moore was limited in practice Monday by a sore shoulder, but fully participated in practices later in the week and was in the starting lineup against Cincinnati.
