Bay Area offering up interesting housing options for Super Bowl week
You thought getting a Super Bowl ticket was hard? Where are you going to stay when you get there?
That's a huge conundrum for fans descending on the Bay Area for the Feb. 7 Super Bowl between the Panthers and Broncos.
A cursory search of hotels in the Santa Clara area on kayak.com produces some eye-popping results. If you're coming for the weekend, the Hilton Santa Clara offers you a Friday to Monday quote of $1910 a night. Couple that with the Hyatt Regency ($1100) and Hyatt House Santa Clara ($709), and you get a pretty good idea of what you can expect.

Seems pretty reasonable, if you ask me. Or if you're not inclined to sleep in a tree house or someone else's tent, maybe just stay home and watch the game on your big screen and save yourself the $200-plus bucks.
