Atlanta zoo loses Super Bowl bet, still manages to troll Tom Brady

Millions of dollars were bet on Super Bowl LI, but the friendliest gamble was made between Zoo Atlanta and Roger Williams Park Zoo in Rhode Island. The two set a wager that the zoo representing the losing team would have to name a baby animal after the other squad.



Because the Falcons lost (in historic fashion), Zoo Atlanta took liberty in paying up the bet this week. They did so by trolling Tom Brady, naming a tiny Madagascar hissing cockroach after the Patriots quarterback.

Did you really expect Zoo Atlanta to name a baby lion after Brady? If so, you were mistaken. This is the closest the Falcons will come to a victory over the Patriots after their epic collapse in Super Bowl LI.
