Arizona Cardinals vs Buffalo Bills inactives
The Arizona Cardinals take on the Buffalo Bills at 10:00 a.m. Sunday in Buffalo
The Arizona Cardinals head northeast to face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday morning. Both teams have announced their inactives for Sunday’s contest at Orchard Park.
For the Cardinals, the good news is receiver Larry Fitzgerald and safety Tyrann Mathieu are both active against the Bills. Both had been limited in practice this week.
The Cardinals will be without guard Evan Mathis. He has turf toe and will miss the game with Buffalo. Also missing for the Cardinals will be four defensive tackles. Again, the depth at the position is paying off.
Defensive tackles Robert Nkemdiche, Frostee Rucker, Xavier Williams, and Olsen Pierre are inactive. In addition the Cardinals have safety Marqui Christian and linebackers Kareem Martin inactive on Sunday.

For the Bills, arguably one of their best offensive players, receiver Sammy Watkins, is inactive. He was rumored all week to be iffy for Sunday’s game. However, the good news for the Bills is that tight end Charles Clay will be active.
The Bills other inactives include quarterback Cardale Jones, receiver Greg Salas, cornerback Ronald Darby, safety Colt Anderson, center Patrick Lewis, and tackle Cordy Glenn.
For the Cardinals it is a little bit of a surprise that Xavier Williams is out but again it is such a position of depth, the Cardinals can keep a deeper offensive line. The offensive line will need all the help they can get trying to fend off the Bills blitzes.
Expect Rucker and Martin to possibly miss another game or two. Hopefully rookie Nkemdiche can get his ankle healed and get out on the field soon as well.
