Arizona Cardinals Top 3 fantasy starters for Week 4

Which Arizona Cardinals should you start in their Week 4 match up against the Los Angeles Rams?

The Arizona Cardinals will be returning to the comforts of home to take on the Los Angeles Rams after a surprising road loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Rams gave up 32 points to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who the Cardinals beat by 33 just 2 weeks ago.

Let’s take a look at the top 3 Cardinals that you need to have in your lineup for this week.

David Johnson, Running back

Last week: 83 rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, 3 catches, 28 receiving yards.

Johnson found the end zone twice against the Bills last week and will continue to be feed the ball. Last wee, Johnson was on the field for 96% of the team’s offensive snaps so there is no questions about his usage.

For three straight weeks, Johnson has broken the 100 total yards barrier and figures to keep up this momentum against an under performing Rams defense. Likewise, through three games, the Rams have given up 300 rushing yards along with 4 rushing touchdowns.

Johnson looks to break the 100 yard rushing mark for the first time this season, and a home divisional game is a great place to try.

Predicted stats: 100+ rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, 4+ catches, 35+ receiving yards

Larry Fitzgerald, Wide receiver

Last week: 7 catches, 60 yards

Like David Johnson, Larry Legend has yet to hit the 100 yard receiving mark this season. However, Fitzgerald has been a favorite target for quarterback Carson Palmer. Fitzgerald has had double digit target count in each game this season.

Fitzgerald will be involved heavily in the passing game as the offense looks to regroup after a terrible outing against the Bills. The Rams have the 15th ranked defense against wide receivers which is no obstacle for the 12 year veteran.

Predicted stats: 9 catches, 110+ receiving yards, 1 touchdown

Arizona Cardinals, Defense/Special teams

Last week: 1 interception, 4 sacks, 1 safety, 33 points allowed, 297 yards allowed.

The Rams offense has been inconsistent at best all season. While scoring 37 points last week, the Rams scored a combined 9 points in Week 1 and 2 combined. Being desperate, Arizona’s defense will come firing right from the gates. With a focus on stopping the run, the Cardinals will force Case Keenum to beat them with his arm.

Predicted stats: 2 interceptions, 2 sacks, 10-17 points allowed, 275-300 yards allowed.
