Arizona Cardinals re-sign punter Drew Butler

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed punter Drew Butler.

Butler has punted in 31 regular-season games for Arizona over the past two seasons, averaging 42.5 yards per kick.

Of his 139 punts in that span, 56 were inside the opponent's 20-yard line. His 34 punts inside the 20 during the 2014 season were tied for most in the NFL.

Butler is the son of former NFL kicker Kevin Butler. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
