AP Pro32 comments about Giants

Comments on the New York Giants by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
---
NEW YORK GIANTS (14)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 14) - Coulda, shoulda, woulda.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 11) - Better than some playoff teams, but paid for inconsistency.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 13)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 14) - Found out once again how hard it is to repeat.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 14) - Giants play like champions in season-ending romp over the Iggles. Too late. No chance for first Super Bowl repeat in franchise history, thanks to four road losses since Nov. 11.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 14) - Like the Bears, the Giants were the only other NFL team to finish with a winning record (9-7) and fail to qualify for the playoffs. So the Giants won't get the chance to defend their NFL championship this January.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 14) - On behalf of the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers, I'd like to say, thank you, New York for skipping the playoffs.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 14) - Speaking of good defense, the Giants don't have much to say.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 16) - The Week 17 win was more frustrating to Giant fans who feel like the team teased them. Coughlin will have the 'G-men' back in contention next year and have no one to blame but themselves for some of the poor performances this season.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 14) - A disappointing season for the defending champs. To return to glory, the dominant pass rush that was in hibernation in 2012 must wake up in 2013.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 14) - The December rally never came.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 14) - They lost five of their last eight and became the 14th Super Bowl winner to fail to make it to the playoffs.
