AP Poll: Ohio State Falls Out Top 4 while Penn State is Ranked

College football saw multiple upsets on Saturday, and the AP Poll recognized those who pulled off those remarkable wins

Ohio State’s loss to Penn State has dropped the Buckeyes from number two in the AP Poll to number six, currently out of the playoffs. Big Ten rival Michigan replaced Ohio State, and Washington finally slid into the top four.

The two biggest falls this week was felt by Houston and Arkansas, both of whom are no longer ranked. Both teams did receive votes, but not enough to crack the top 25.

Teams who were not previously ranked that are now represented in the poll are Penn State, Virginia Tech and Colorado. Penn State is ranked for the first time since 2011 following their home victory over Ohio State.
