Andre Johnson inactive for Texans

Published Oct. 3, 2010 4:23 p.m. ET

Houston Texans star receiver Andre Johnson is inactive for the game against the Oakland Raiders with a sprained right ankle.

Johnson sprained his right ankle two weeks ago at Washington and aggravated the injury again last week against Dallas. He was listed as questionable for this game and the Texans to sit him Sunday.

Johnson leads the Texans with 19 catches for 255 yards and one touchdown. Jacoby Jones will start in his place against the Raiders.

Among the inactive players for the Raiders are defensive tackle John Henderson with a foot injury and offensive lineman Robert Gallery with a bad hamstring.
