49ers' Justin Smith ejected

San Francisco 49ers starting defensive end Justin Smith was ejected from Thursday's game in the first half against the host San Diego Chargers for making contact with an official.

Smith is leading the team in sacks with 5 1/2.

In addition, 49ers outside linebacker Travis LaBoy suffered a knee injury in the first half and his return has been listed as questionable.
