49ers DT Darnell Dockett: 'We will still win'
This has been an offseason for the ages for the San Francisco 49ers and not in a good way. With the latest retirement of OT Anthony Davis, the 49ers have now lost four key players to retirement.
Dockett, who is in his first year with the 49ers remains confident despite all the offseason losses. The outspoken defensive tackle to Twitter to make some bold claims about this upcoming season.
Don't ask me about who's retired and what's going on with football this and that.... We will still WIN! Just watch! #savage #adversity

The 49ers will be playing under first-year head coach Jim Tomsula who will have his work cut out for him. On top of losing Davis, Justin Smith, Chris Borland and Patrick Willis to retirement, the 49ers lost their starting cornerbacks from a year ago in Chris Culliver and Perrish Cox, their starting wide receiver Michael Crabtree, their starting running back Frank Gore, and their starting left guard Mike Iupati.
Dockett is right about one thing, it would be an amazing story if the 49ers were able to be succesful this season.
