Win In 6 Podcast #84: Thoughts On Week 1 For The Milwaukee Bucks
In the latest edition of our Milwaukee Bucks’ Win In 6 Podcast, we look back on the first week of the new season.
It’s that time of week again as our team gets together to discuss the latest Milwaukee Bucks‘ news and most important conversation points in our “Win In 6 Podcast”!
After a long break and so much debate and discussion, the Bucks returned to action last Wednesday. With three games already in the bank, there’s plenty for us to talk about, but has it been worth the wait?
That part is certainly debatable.
We took a closer look at how the Bucks have structured their rotations so far, with a particular emphasis on the hockey style substitutions that have seen no real transition process from the starters to the second unit.
Another burning issue that we felt required to discuss was the significance, or lack there of, in Point Giannis in the early running. Although Giannis Antetokounmpo has been comfortably Milwaukee’s best player so far, has he been playing in the role we were all told he would do prior to the season?
With continued confusion among the split of center minutes, a big game for Rashad Vaughn and talk of Kevin Garnett considering a coaching role with the Bucks, there was still plenty more for us to sink our teeth into as well.
Normally, we’d wrap the podcast up with our predictions and preview for the week ahead, as well as by answering all of your mailbag questions, but that isn’t the case in this one. Although we did talk through those regular segments, a tech glitch meant they weren’t recorded and will have to be saved for a later date.
You’ll be able to find all of our predictions in Ti Windisch’s pre-game pieces on game day throughout the week, while we’ll answer the mailbag questions that still have relevance by next week’s episode when the time comes.
Apologies for the change-up, but it was out of our control and probably overdue considering our 83 episode streak without a mishap!
Joining me for this week’s episode, as usual, were contributor Jordan Treske and site expert Ti Windisch.
