Why does Clippers' guard J.J. Redick think The Beatles are overrated?

BY foxsports • February 1, 2016

Clippers guard J.J. Redick became the first NBA player to host his own in-season podcast Monday morning. In the first episode, he admitted he hated The Beatles.

After interviewing former teammate Jared Dudley for nearly 45 minutes, Redick decided to switch topics. He had mostly discussed basketball-related topics before the transition, offering hot takes on things he thought were overrated. His first target was arguably the most iconic, influential band of all-time.

Redick said he went to see "Love" (the Beatles-themed Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas) while he was hungover. Redick says he just wanted to eat Chipotle and "the whole show" freaked him out.

Instead of The Beatles, Redick says he prefers to listen to New Jersey-born rock star Bruce Springsteen. Dudley said he doesn't mind The Beatles. To listen to the whole interview, click here.
