Who's the best power forward in Charlotte Hornets history?

Over the past few years, the Charlotte Hornets have been a rotating door at power forward. They gave up on Noah Vonleh a few months ago, then drafted Frank Kaminsky with the ninth overall pick in June's draft despite Cody Zeller's lingering presence.

But a very long time ago, when the Hornets were routinely making postseason noise, the position was rock solid. It inspired SB Nation's At the Hive to figure out who the very best power forward in franchise history is.

To nobody's surprise, Larry Johnson's name popped up more than once:

"Larry Johnson is one of the top three Charlotte players off all time. His numbers from his rookie season moving forward were absurd, as was the 12 year, $84 million contract he signed with the Hornets in 1993, which, had he played out all 12 years of that contract, would have ended in 2005, just as the first season of the Charlotte Bobcats would have come to an end."

Johnson spent the first half of his career in Charlotte, where he averaged 19.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game across five eventful seasons. He was a franchise player—exactly what the Hornets need right now.
