Which Portland Trail Blazer will break out in 2015-16?

The Portland Trail Blazers are depending on one of their young, high-upside players to break out this season. Now that last year's entire starting five (minus Damian Lillard) plays elsewhere, the team needs at least four new guys to fill some pretty big shoes.

Here's the Oregonian's Joe Freeman on who some candidates to step up in 2015-16 might be:

"I think CJ is primed for a big season. I think Meyers will take another step forward. And I'm intrigued by the potential of Vonleh. Summer League means very little in the grand scheme of things, but he was way better than I expected in Las Vegas. He has some incredible skills in a big body. I'm also curious about Aminu: How important is his defensive versatility and how much can he give the Blazers on offense? Don't know if I really answered your question...if I had to pick one player, I'd go with CJ."

McCollum is a good bet. He averaged an efficient 17.0 points per game against the Memphis Grizzlies in the postseason, and flashed serious off-the-bounce ability.

If he can help shoulder Portland's scoring load (and take some pressure off Lillard's back), then this squad might be a little better than most people think.
