Which Celtics rookie has already impressed Amir Johnson?
The Boston Celtics have several new faces this season, and some of them have yet to play a single minute in the NBA. But that doesn't mean they aren't up to the challenge of contributing right away.
New Celtic Amir Johnson says one rookie in particular has already caught his eye, per MassLive's Jay King:
The Celtics selected Rozier with the 16th overall pick in June's draft, surprising most prognosticators who thought Boston reached for the Louisville point guard. But Rozier can defend and get to the rim, two characteristics that have immediate value if he can carry them over to the NBA.
And if his outside shot develops to the point where Rozier becomes one of Boston's better deep threats, Danny Ainge should be applauded for thinking outside the box and snagging such an athletic talent outside the lottery.

One day after the Boston Celtics' first two-a-day session, Amir Johnson fielded a question about whether any of his young teammates had stood out. With hardly any hesitation, the veteran named rookie Terry Rozier. "Terry," Johnson replied. "Terry's incredibly quick and athletic. Works hard. Unbelievable player. The rest of the young guys are the same way. They're high-energy, and it gets everybody going."
