Watch this behind-the-scenes look at Washington's opening month

The Washington Wizards are 6-8, and if the season ended today they wouldn't make the playoffs. It's not the best start for a team many expected to compete for the Eastern Conference crown, in a season with so much riding on their success.

But, alas, here they are, and this wonderful behind-the-scenes clip of their opening month is a must-watch for any fan of the NBA, let alone this team:

Washington's adopted a faster pace, but it's taking longer than expected for it to actually be effective. Their defense is really struggling and their small-ball lineups aren't making opponents feel uncomfortable.

But it's early, and once Wall turns his own game around the team should soon follow.
