Watch Russell Westbrook break Isaiah Thomas' ankles and then hammer it home

Published Nov. 16, 2015 7:40 p.m. ET

Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook is known to do freakish things on the basketball court, especially when superstar teammate Kevin Durant is out

Westbrook's craziness was on full display against the Boston Celtics on Sunday. After receiving a screen at the top of the arc from Andre Roberson, Westbrook darted right and forced Isaiah Thomas to switch onto him. Westbrook's acceleration off the screen caused Thomas to fall backwards, and once you give Westbrook an open lane, it's game over:

Dribble. Jump stop. One-handed monster dunk. It's like clockwork for Westbrook at this point.

The Thunder hope Durant returns as soon as possible, of course, but for fan's sake, the triple-double monster version of Westbrook is particularly fun to watch.
