Updated Mar. 4, 2020 12:08 p.m. ET

Last week, Craig Sager died at the age of 65 after a long battle with cancer. Sager delivered his final interview to CBS' Jim Axelrod.

Sager had battled cancer for more than two years. He was first diagnosed with leukemia in 2014. He went into remission after a bone marrow transplant, but the the disease ultimately returned in March.

The interview was conducted in October after Sager underwent his third bone marrow transplant. He wore a blue flower print blazer for the interview.

“I'm fighting not only for myself and my family but I am fighting for everybody who has cancer,” Sager says.
