Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut was diagnosed with a concussion on Wednesday, just one day after bumping heads with New Orleans Pelicans forward Dante Cunningham, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
There is no timetable for Bogut's return -- he cannot play until he passes the league's concussion protocol -- but it's safe to assume he will miss the Warriors' upcoming road games in Houston on Friday and New Orleans on Saturday.
Bogut expressed his displeasure with the play on Twitter:
However, according to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, Cunningham has a history with the Warriors, injuring several players in the past couple seasons:
Festus Ezeli will likely start in Bogut's place, but his absence will certainly be felt.
