Wade out vs. Pistons with sore wrist

Dwyane Wade has a sprained right wrist and will not play Friday night when the Miami Heat host the Detroit Pistons.

The team made the announcement about 15 minutes before tip-off, after originally penciling him into the starting lineup. He will be listed as day-to-day. Mike Miller will start in Wade's place.

Wade hurt the wrist while falling in Thursday's loss at the New York Knicks. He went through a team walkthrough Friday afternoon without problems, but pain in the wrist apparently intensifed as the day went along.
