Utah Jazz point guard Deron Williams missed his second straight game because of a hyperextended right wrist.

Earl Watson started in Williams' place at Golden State on Sunday night. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan was hopeful that Williams would return against Charlotte on Monday night.

Williams was injured in a scramble for a loose ball during Utah's 112-105 loss to San Antonio on Wednesday night. He stayed in the game and finished with a season-high 39 points.

Jazz center Mehmet Okur also missed the game against the Warriors because of a strained back.
