NEW ORLEANS (AP) The New Orleans Pelicans say guard Tyreke Evans has been activated for Friday night's home game against Minnesota, and the Timberwolves listed Kevin Love in their starting lineup.

Love, who averages 25.6 points and 13.2 rebounds, missed Minnesota's game at Oklahoma City on Wednesday night because of neck stiffness.

Evans hurt his right ribs in a collision with San Antonio's Matt Bonner during the first quarter of New Orleans' loss on Monday night. He sat out the rest of that game and the Pelicans' victory over Atlanta on Wednesday night.

Normally New Orleans' first reserve off the bench, Evans has played in 41 games this season, averaging 12.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists in about 25 minutes per game.
