Oklahoma City Thunder center Nenad Krstic is recovering after undergoing surgery to repair a broken finger on his right hand.

The Thunder said Tuesday the procedure was performed by team physicians in Oklahoma City.

Krstic was injured in the final game of this year's world championship in Istanbul. Krstic averaged 13.5 points and 7.5 rebounds while helping lead Serbia to a fourth-place finish.

The 7-foot center is expected to be ready for the Thunder's first game against the Chicago Bulls.
