29 turnovers
This is just terrible. Even without turnover-prone Emmanuel Mudiay, the Denver Nuggets committed an insane amount of turnovers led by four starters, Danilo Gallinari, Jusuf Nurkic, Jameer Nelson, and Will Barton who all turned it over more than 4.
7-32 from three
This is the second of the stat breakdowns for the Nuggets tonight. Their three point shooting has been a commendable 35.9% this season, but tonight’s 21.9% just couldn’t cut it. Along with shooting just 67% from the line, this team continues to struggles from the field.
The Nuggets were led by Nikola Jokic who scored 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. His 6-10 from the field was a boost for the Nuggets, and even after his respectable performance, Big Honey still managed a -20.
This team has got to get back on track and NOW. If they don’t, they will end up suffering another pitiful year at the bottom of the Western Conference. Their next game will the Magic as they continue their six-game road trip.
