Sullinger scores 16 to lead Celtics to 99-85 win over Knicks

BOSTON (AP) Jared Sullinger had 16 points and eight rebounds to help lead the Boston Celtics to a 99-85 preseason victory over the New York Knicks on Thursday night.

Celtics: Sullinger was 6 of 10 and had six assists in 19 minutes. ... Tyler Zeller finished with 15 points and Jae Crowder added 13. ... David Lee had seven points and eight boards.

Knicks: Carmelo Anthony scored eight points on 4-of-18 shooting in 31 minutes. ... Jose Calderon had 17 points and eight rebounds. ... Derrick Williams added 14 points.

Star watch: Anthony struggled, missing six of his first seven shots. He was held scoreless for over 20 minutes until a pair of baskets late in the first half. ... 2014 first-round draft pick Marcus Smart had nine assists for Boston.
