Sixers reportedly deny Kenyan TV report of Joseph Njuki signing

Here's a weird one for you. 

What appears to be a legitimate news broadcast on a Kenyan television reported that the Sixers had signed Joseph Njuki, who would have been the first Kenyan-born player to join the NBA.

Except multiple reports claim that this wasn't true at all.

Tom Moore of The Intelligencer and Keith Pompey of The Inquirer both shot it down, with Pompey's source saying he'd never heard of Njuki.

Neither have we, and a cursory Google search doesn't return much in the way of results for someone who's supposedly worthy of joining the NBA.

Just strange.
