Shaq says Kobe hasn't congratulated him for being voted into Hall of Fame

It's no secret that Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant weren't always on the best of terms during their playing days. The duo led the Los Angeles Lakers to three consecutive titles, but the constant squabbling behind the scenes over who was the No. 1 option eventually led to O'Neal being shipped to the Heat in the summer of 2004.

Years have passed, and it appeared the two retired superstars had let bygones be bygones.

But that might not be the case. As O'Neal prepares to be enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday, the four-time champion was asked if Kobe had reached out to him to congratulate his election to the Hall.

Now, Kobe has never been the most talkative superstar. But with O'Neal being a big part of Bryant's first three titles -- Shaq was named Finals MVP after each -- a simple phone call shouldn't be too much to ask for.

Maybe Kobe is waiting until Shaq is officially enshrined or maybe the call will never come from the Black Mamba? When it comes to Shaq, it's probably safe to say it won't distract from O'Neal's special moment.
