Surf City kept a firm hold of their lead throughout the third quarter as they headed into the final segment of the game 86-73. Beginning at the 6:07 mark in the fourth quarter, the Spurs went on an 8-2 run to bring the deficit down to just two points. However, Santa Cruz kept their composure, expertly closing out the game in yet another exhilarating, down-to-the-wire contest.
