San Antonio Spurs prepping for 'last crack' at title, says Tony Parker

The San Antonio Spurs have as good a shot as anybody at winning the championship next season. They're loaded with an incredibly talented roster that includes several All-Stars and a batch of Hall of Famers.

Their starting point guard, Tony Parker, is happy to have one more shot at winning it all with his good buds Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili back for another run. But will it be their last dance? Here's what Parker told France 24 English, per San Antonio Express-News:

“Super excited, super excited...That’s why I can’t wait to start with the national team and make sure we take care of business, and then go to the Spurs and try to go back at it and try to get another ring. It’s been an unbelievable summer for us. LaMarcus is going to help us a lot. I’m so happy that Manu and Timmy are back. And so we’re going for a last try, a last crack at it to try to win it all.”

This makes sense. Duncan and Ginobili are very old and this is likely their last season. But beyond next year, Parker and the Spurs (most notably LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard) will still be one of the best teams in basketball.

The team is changing, but they aren't getting worse.
